There is something like more than 170 different dialects languages across the Philippines. In Cebu they speak the Visayas language, but in Iloilo City they speak Ilocano which is something totally different: and down in Zamboanga they're speaking Chavocano, and up in Manila they're speaking Tagalog. It is a real patchwork.
