Immigration Visa: The average Filipino is restricted from freely leaving the PH – yes you heard that right. So every marriage to an expat represents a potential visa and a ticket out of Dodge-City. You are like a mule to her, and she's willing to do anything, so she can ride on your back into the West.

Better Standard of Living: Life can be hard for a Province girl or even a city girl in the PH, and they all want a shot at a better life. If you don't believe me, just take a walk (if you dare) through the Tondo or Paranque slums in Manila, or see the dirt-floor shacks where many of these girls come from in the Provinces. Then you'll understand the desperation they are trying to escape out of. The commonly heard statistic is that 2/3 of Filipinos live on $2.00 a day – so bear that in mind.

Money: they desperately want it, but most won’t come out and ask you for it outright, b/c they don’t want to come off as the needy scammers that everyone talks about.

Marriage: Fiiipinas want to get married, b/c they are very traditional in their behaviours

Kids: 99% of Fiiipinas want to have some kids of their own to fuss over and spoil. They are very traditional in their behaviours.

Control: they want to have oversight over every aspect of the relationship including access to your bank account, social media passwords, and full knowlege of your comings and goings

Sex: they won’t ask you for it and she will never initiate it with you, however, they are totally down for it. They also like to get a little freaky even though they look innocent

Financial Assistance: they want you to help out their family financially: mother, father, brothers, sisters, and aunts and uncles if you let them. It is hard to get away from this one, b/c if you refuse it will be seen as disrespect.
