Philippines is awesome place for retirement. Their are very much westerners in the Philippines.ANGELES city pampanga, it's a nice city, less traffic compared to Manila, closer to NCR , AIRPORT and so on. Angeles city is Describe as Las Vegas of the Philippines. Apart from Korean, Australian are more dominant follow by American's. You Will feel at home in Angeles city and get along easily. We have alot of westerners in Cebu as well but I wouldn't recommend cebu cos of the heavy traffic, pollution and other big cities issues you might not want to experience. In general, any part of the Philippines you decide to settle down, won't really have much differences with each other. Most of the places are the same.

Since I’m from Visayaz , I can only suggest the places in that area. Bohol Dumaguete Siquijor Island Negros Occidental and Oriental Samar Camotes island Bantayan Island Panay Island Please note that these places are quiet and far from the big cities, usually its near to the beach or in the mountains. Expenses depends upon your way of living/lifestyle.
