If crime is an issue in the PH, then how do the affluent Phil-Chinese community avoid being victims? Also, why are Phil-Chinese children less likely to become involved in street crime than other youth in PH? How do they insulate?

The affluent Philippine-Chinese community tend to stay in affluent, and secure areas like subdivisions, or apartments(that employ security guards that screen outsiders from entry) They also fund, and provide resources to some parts of community service(fire volunteers, Homeowners association events, lunch for volunteers) Eng Bee Tin’s purple fire truck When they travel within the city, they tend to travel by car or van. Non-destinct from the average urvan traveling within metro manila When using public transport, they favour the use of grab car, angkas, or taxi. When they are out in public, they dress quietly. Wearing what you expect when riding a bus. Also, why are Phil-Chinese children less likely to become involved in street crime than other youth in PH? Because their parents keep them off the streets(at least until the age of 18) Or at least keep them tethered to their side as long as possible. The kids still do stupid things, but they tend to be buried with gifts to those offended. Big events tend to be dealt by the parents.(before some punishment is given to the child) How do they insulate? They stay in subdivisions/apartmentsThey befriend the community.Their children study in private schoolThey use one or more cars/vans for everday transport to work/school

In Philippines you can not work unless you have Philippines citizenship. Affluent Chinese can afford to get Philippines citizenship. Philippines born Chinese without Philippines citizenship can not stay indefinitely in the Philippines and their only option is to migrate to western worlds especially USA. Rich Philippines Chinese are like affluent Filipinos, live in exclusive neighborhoods with security guards at the entrance to the communities or in China town. Koreans have their own Korean town. It is easier to get USA citizenship if you are a professional and nil to impossible to get Philippines permanent resident status during my time as Philippines born Chinese but never been to China. I was denied re-entry to the Philippines after two years of advance physician training in the USA. Able to practice medicine and get USA citizenship. It was nil to impossible to get Philippines permanent resident status during my time if you were born as Philippines Chinese during Mao’s era. China was dirt poor under Mao and not respected by the Philippines. I have Philippines Medical license but can not practice in the Philippines since I am still a foreigner with USA citizenship. 2019 Philippines law restrict professional practice to Filipinos only.
