What are the best restaurants to try when visiting Zamboanga City, Philippines? What should you try while you’re there?

When you're in Zamboanga City, don't forget to go to these restaurants:1) Alavar Restaurant, Tetuan – the crabs and curacha with Alavar sauce is a must.2) Patio Palmeras, Sta. Maria – try the Bilao and their Knickerbocker.3) Busy Bee, Gov. Camins Ave. – all the food they serve tastes great and I personally like the Bopez Picadillo, Ampalaya salad, and Bicol Express.4) Early Bird, MCLL highway, Guiwan – try their Zamboanga's version of Shawarma.5) Kape Zambo, Canelar – known for their Arroz Caldo and Fresh Lumpia.6) Myra's Bakeshop, Pasonanca – specializes in cakes and other pastries.7) Encuentro Satti House, Gov. Ramos Ave., Sta. Maria – there are many establishments selling Satti in Zamboanga but I personally prefer Encuentro.8) Family Fried Chicken, Canelar – try their mouth waterin fried chicken9) Carmella's, Tetuan – try their buko pie, empanada, and other popular merienda.10) ABC Bakery, Sta. Maria – try their pan mongo, egg pie, Mona lisa bread.11) Inihaw Ni Tatay, Sta. Maria – it is not a resto but if you want grilled fish that is fresh and affordable this is the place to go.
