Olongapo City native here. My favorite places and favorite things to order: Xtremely Xpresso (in SBMA) the giant burger and their pizza is huge. Their pasta is also great. Wimpy’s (Magsaysay Drive) I love the porkchop dinner. Sam’s Pizza (Magsaysay Drive) I love going here at nighttime, they usually have a band playing. I order either the sam’s special pizza, or the taco pizza and chicken in a basket. If you’re into hole-in-the-wall places, I urge you to look for the small canteen in Pag-Asa in front of NSO, and ask for “babalu mengay.” And also, my favorite discovery on my last vacation is Sefina’s Cafe also in Pag-Asa. They have amazing desserts and also some Italian and American food. Another gem in Pag-Asa is Halo-Halo sa Gapo, a purple store that sells merienda right across Pag-Asa Market and sells the arguably best palabok in Olongapo for a low, low price of 25 pesos. I like to order palabok, halo-halo and the egg burger. If you want to stray further from the heart of the city, The Coffee Shop in Barretto has the best tacos.
