Comfortably, definitely, yes. But we all know that depends on your resources. There are many places in Philippines you can choose. Do you want city-life? There are lots of condominium community setup sprouting all over Metro Manila. Perhaps, you prefer a quieter location you can opt to stay in Laguna or Clark, Angeles where it is away from the busyness and traffic of the city but not that far away from it. Maybe you want to try a farm life, there are places in North & South of Manila where you can live and enjoy the simpleness of life. Or you may opt for a sea side living where you enjoy the crystal clear and serenity of water. Philippines is a big country with lots of places to explore. Cost of living is relatively cheap compared to other countries and much cheaper in rural areas.

If you want to be on the high end of living spectrum, you need to have at least 50000 pesos monthly income. If you want to be on the middle of living standard spectrum, you need to have at least 20000–50000 pesos monthly income The bare minimum is 10000 pesos , but living in the city, budgeting that amount of money is a headache. What matters is your budget, we filipinos will actually adjust to english speaking people, even a vendor on the street will try their best to help you despite them having difficulty speaking english.
