Yes, all this information is online. However, I can tell you from experience, that IF you are a retired U.S. goverment employee, AND you had partial or full US goverment active duty military retirement, then you really should come to Baguio City and apply with the Philippine Retirement Authority. You MIGHT be pleasantly surprised to find that IF you qualifiy, to just deposit $1,500 in a Philippine bank, pay various fees and jump through a few simple hoops and you will have the what is called the SRRV – Special Resident Retirement Visa. It is basically the best retirement you can possibly get in the Philippines. Additionaly, Baguio City is without any doubt in my view, and I have extensive experience with various locations in the Philippines, THE best place to live in the Philippines. Happy to Help.

Philippine law has an age requirement. This is information that is readily available online . You must also get a retirement visa in the Philippines and post a one time one million pesos (roughly $20K USD in 2020) deposit with the government of the Philippines that is available to you under limited conditions otherwise must remain unused by you while living in the Philippines. Basically that is it other than proving you have a certain amount of income steadily coming in which can be met by most people’s social security entitlement. Either way this information is all available online.
