Filipinas were not brought up believing that romance and money are two disconnected issues that should be kept separately. Filipinas are open, honest, and straightforward about the importance of partner’s (i.e. the man’s) financial stability. She fully expects a foreign dating-prospect to be able to provide the basic necessities of life for her, and sometimes help out with her family. Inability to check this box is likely a deal-breaker for her.
