Please use “ developing country” instead of Third World. Sounds insulting. Like you using the word “ retard”. The Philippines! No VN please! VN has better food and better looking architecture, but many disadvantages: No English. Or VERY little English. How are you going to talk to the majority of the people, read signs, documents, news etc?The ladies do not like to marry foreigners unless VERY rich or good looking or the lady is old and unattractive. And even then, marriage there is a bureacratic nightmare. There have been reports of VNese people throwing stones at mixed couples and also mixed kids treated like sh-t.harder visas.A communist government with a star, a red flag and a picture of Lenin and MarxSome VNese are scared of white people and run away from them. Or turn their faces away from them. And some hate you. I was on a bike in HMC and one man called me “Stupid French!” and was ready to start a fight. I am not even French.People have cold hearts there. Just like the Japanese. Cold faces, stone cold.A nice place to visit and travel. Not to live!

Here is my perception about retire in a third world country: 1/ Regardless of Vietnam, Philippines, Malaysia, Thailand,…la,..bla..Just pick a few countries on your list.. 2/ As Foreign visitor who can afford to travel to these third world countries, who would ban you a 3-month visitor visa? 3/ Buy airplane tickets, travel there and live for yourself about 3 months at each destination. 4/ Now you get the answer with your own experiences…
