Makati City. The richest region in the Philippines is NCR with an equity of P137.649 billion, and it's richest city is Makati with an equity of P34.461 billion despite it's corrupt and overindulgent officials and informal citizens. Ayala Center in Makati City is the business and leisure center of the country, with dozens of offices, skyscrapers, hotels, and shopping malls.

The richest city in the Philippines is Makati City, because most big corporations and international businesses have their main offices there. According to the latest report of the Commission on Audit, Makati City has an Equity of ₱163 billion, while its income is ₱26 billion.
