She may be the real deal – who knows? My advice is to continue to watch and wait for another 18 months. The huge advantage that Filipinas have over foreign men is PATIENCE, and it is an important asset. Generally speaking, Westerners and Americans in general have zero patience b/c we come from an instant-gratification culture. But they do not. Waiting is a function of daily life for them, b/c everything in the Philippines takes a long, long time to do: and Filipinas are used to and comfortable with waiting. So, she may be waiting patiently before dropping a bomb or two on you – so stay alert.
