Be careful & judicious in your dealings with Filipinos. In any kind of business dealing or the hiring of workers or procuring professional services or any transaction large or small – be very, very careful. Don’t take anything for granted and do your due-diligence well. Check, double-check, and then check some more. After money exchanges hands here, there is little to no recourse for you as an expat, and going to court about it may land you in worst trouble.
