Maybe, maybe not. It depends on how you play the game from the start. But in general, foreign men are usually at a disadvantage with Filipinas as soon as they get off the plane. Because she has home-field advantage and also, she has nothing to lose! On the other hand, the foreigner has EVERYTHING to lose like his money, assets, his emotional stability. But since she is coming to the table with nothing, she is free to take risks and red-line her game. The foreigner will be paying for everything, so if it doesn’t work out for her, she can just walk away from situation without consequence, and move on to the next expat. On the other hand, the man will have blown $5 – $10,000 and his heart will be broken.
