As native here in Philippines and living in Mindanao. I can say this article is true until now, 5 Big Danger Zones To Avoid In The Philippines kindly engaged yourself in people here in the city or wherever you are going (tour guides, local guides) as they know the vernacular and the secret trades. Just avoid the southern half of the big island of Mindanao. Also Manila and most of the big cities are cesspool although Cebu City is the best International Airport to arrive in. The best lifestyles and people are in the rural areas which are about 80% of the population. Good luck
