Communication is a main one: b/c Filipinas rarely say what they’re thinking when it comes to deep emotional matters. Further, they seem not so good at resolving upsets through discussion and debate and compromise. It’s almost as if they don’t really know how to ‘open-up’ to partners early in a relationship. It’s probably some kind of emotional insecurity or immaturity. I used to be thrown-off by their general chattiness and openess trivial stuff, but that all disappears quickly when serious matters arise.
