What strikes first time visitors as special or unusual when they arrive in Pasay City, Philippines?

I held that opinion that God forgot about Pasay City. This is because while many cities in the Metro Manila area, the metropolitan area where Pasay City is location, have developed and progressed into relatively safe and modern cities, Pasay seems to have lagged far behind. There are huge slum areas, with multi-story and even high rise shanties built of light materials, labyrinths of alleyways and narrow roads. One will not want to be lost in this city.

What’s special about the Filipino people is how hospitable they are, and I think this is what will strike the first time visitors when they arrive Pasay City, Philippines. Since Pasay City is where our domestic and international airports are located, the people working in the vicinity will accomodate and assist our first time visitors with their needs, sometimes, more than what should be done. Filipino people are known for their hospitability and i believe that this will leave a mark to our first time visitors and would possibly be visiting our country often. Though surely they will notice the crowded and traffic road along Pasay City, but still, there are landmarks that they might enjoy seeing along the way, like the Resorts World Manila that is just across NAIA or MOA which is known as the largest Mall in Asia and many more. There are many special and unsual things that our first time visitors would encounter not only in Pasay City but in some other parts of the Philippines, we just have to keep in mind, whatever it may be, Philippines is a country that we Filipinos should be proud of.
