anywhere except somewhere down south of Philippines, Mindanao, excluding Davao. People from North and Central part of Philippines dont really care about foreigners. And as what Greg Pasden said, it always depend on what type of person you are. I hope you are the good side. Im from Cebu / Central part of Philippines and there are a lot of diverse foreign people here now especially in major cities like Cebu City, Lapu lapu City, Mandaue City. Lapu lapu City is like little Korea Town they walk on streets all time of day. And by the way, Cebu is famous for beautiful beaches and diving spots if you like one.

This is a good question, but it also depends on the type of person you are. Let me explain. If you are a respectful & responsible person in the community compared to a troublemaker (disrespectful, arrogant, demanding, etc), then chances are you will be safer in most communities. Let’s say you are the respectful & responsible type of person. Then I am going to recommend the islands in Romblon Province.
