Tsukiji along Pasay Road is one of the best. Fresh and high quality seafood all the time. Price-wise, expect to pay a minimum of 500-800 per pax. Nihon Bashi Tei in Pasay Road is also good. Their set meals are quite filling. The coffee they serve is also delicious. Price-wise, set meals range from Php 190- 500 . Little Tokyo along Chino Roces cor Amorsolo st in Makati has also a lot of Japanese restos that serve high quality Japanese food at affordable prices. Must-try is the Takoyaki in Hana.

Adding a note here on Japanese food for the less adventurous. Not too many know about okonomiyake (Japanese pancakes), but they are delicious. The best is in the Little Tokyo collection of restaurants, near Amorsolo Street, beside Makati Cinema Square. Gyoza, Japanese dumplings with vegetable and pork filling, seared on one side, is done right at Shinjuku along Makati Avenue.
