Nowadays, I head for the nearest Electroworld, Abensons and Ansons simply because they give so much perks for credit card related purchases that any discount from lower end shops would have a hard time matching. Additionally, if you purchase hardware one generation older they tend to have inventory sales where you can get them for a song. I used to buy from stores like Villman and PC Express before because they would sell you the hardware at the lowest possible margins. For DIY setups, they even sell the individual components. Even longer ago, I used to go to shops like Byteshop and Thinking Tools when I used to live in Cebu. This is because they gave always "free" software.

I suggest that you should go to Gilmore, New Manila Quezon City. There are lots of PC and Laptop stores in that area, where you can get good to high-quality laptops. These stores are a few steps away from the LRT-2 Gilmore Station, so the easiest way to go there if you’re a commuter is by taking LRT-2. Hope this helps.
