I am retiring from the military and moving to the Philippines in October 2021. Do you recommend Baguio for beach living?

Baguio is a mountain town of universities and resorts. Called the City of Pine. And it is high at 5,200 feet above sea level. Baguio is approximately 250 Kilometers north of Manila, situated in the Province of Benguet. Baguio is 8 degrees cooler on the average than any place in lowlands. When Manila sweats at 35 degrees centigrade or above, Baguio seldom exceeds 26 degrees centigrade at its warmest. In the summer (month of March, April, May) Baguio lives up to its title as the Summer Capital of the Philippines when thousands of visitors from lowlands and Manila take their annual exodus to the city to cool off. Hope this helps!

Baguio is a long way from a beach and it s several thousand feet above sea level. If you know so little about the PHilippines can I suggest you visit the place first.
