when you arrive in Manila AirPort you get a 30day visa waiver stamp in your passport also a stamp to Show the expiry . If you wish to extend you must Go to the nearest Immigration office at least a week before it expires is best and you Will get a 29 day visa if you still wish to extend , by the way you can stay im the Philippines for up to 3 yrs on a Tourist visa you Just keep extending , after your first Extension you must also apply for an ACR card which is the Alien certificate of Registration its your ID which you Will need to open a Bank account , you can 2 month visa Extensions ,some offices Will give 6 months ,
