So you found the perfect women the one that makes your heart go pitter patter. every time you talk to her or even think of her, and she's a Filipina and she's the greatest thing since white bread.well that's probably true. Filipinas are naturally beautiful. Most Filipinas are a mix of Spanish, Chinese, Malay and a few other races. so they are naturally beautiful. So if you're thinking of marrying a Filipina just remember Marriage to a Filipina is a life-long commitment – once she sets her heart and mind on marrying you, chances are, she will be with you for life especially if you decide to make the Philippines your home. A Filipina will always value the sanctity of marriage. In the Philippines, there is no law for divorce, just annulment or a legal separation and a annulment is a costly and drawn out process. And you should know filipinas have a very deep regard and respect for her family. They are each other’s support system and whom they lean on in tough time's, and not only because they are related but most of them grow up next to or in each other’s home. when meeting her family you’ll get asked about what you do for a living or if you know how to speak Filipino. Don’t get offended, being questioned about your life is one way Filipinos make an effort to get to know you more. always remember to greet the grandparents, parents, uncles, aunts, and other older relatives of your spouse with respect. It will show them you are respectful of them and was raised right. You can even say ‘Kumusta po?’ (Hi, how are you?) If you are looking for a marriage that you can cherish forever and if you want a loyal, loving companion in life, take care find the right one and you'll never go wrong with marrying a Filipina. You guys should calm down. The guy who posted the question just wanted to know about “dating” and you are all talking about “marriage”. LOL Anyway, here are my ‘two cents’ on the matter: #1 – If you’re just interested in dating but not marrying or you’re not looking for a long-term relationship, then it would be difficult for you. Because Filipinas have high expectations when it comes to dating. Most Filipinas don’t date casually. They date with an intention to settle down, get married, have kids and their own family. This is mostly true regardless if she’s from the middle class (B or C) or class A (high society) or poverty line (D or E). So if you’re just into casual dating or ‘testing the waters’ then make sure the Filipina knows this from the very beginning so you can avoid all the drama. There are some Filipinas who prefer this too so don’t lose hope. I don’t know where to find those Filipinas.. maybe in various bars or clubs in the cities where most millennials hang out after work? Not really sure because I’ve never been a party goer. #2 – If you’re dating with an intention of eventually marrying a Filipina, then you have to be prepared. Most of us still follow courtship practices. Even when you’re already dating a Filipina, you have to wait until she’s ready to introduce you to her family. When she does you’ll sort of have to court her family and show them that your intention is to marry their daughter. If you’re dating someone from Class D and E, it won’t be too hard since you’re a foreigner but expect that they will see you as a big dollar sign. That’s the sad reality. If you’re dating someone from Class B and C (upper middle, middle, lower middle class) expect that they will give more value on your intention and character more than your foreign blood, financial capability or looks. You can only date Class A women if you’re filthy rich so probably don’t consider that anymore. Ha Ha Yep. That’s it. Good luck!
