A lot of reasons. It is very dangerous living in my country, You cannot go outside without meeting bad people who have the worst attitude in this country and some of them do crime. It’s actually full of hypocrites like France, Spain and the rest of Europe. The country is depressing and war on drugsThis country lacks manners and you need a guide on how to stay away from bad manner Filipinos if you ever approach oneMany will take advantage of you when you visit in my countryThis country is full of close-minded doodoo weirdos, If you have ever seen weird stuffs like people masturbating in front of you videos, this country’s people will just watch the person masturbate and not report him to the police and some of them watches little kids pee and disgustingly will react badly if they are threaten and act like a hypocrite who wants to sue you for no reasons, FILIPINOS will ignore you if you are African-American and will only KEEP THEIR SHITTY ATTENTION ON CHINESE, KOREANS, and whites (Americans, Latin-Americans) and Hispanics and Canadians), AND NO DO NOT VISIT MY COUNTRY.Here is more proof: Fake accounts stealing profile pictures just to mock them (translate them for vulgar and offensive slurs) Child kills child over an internet game because of internet cafes. If that was a feeding Vayne in League of Legends (I assume that was their fighting over) I would have just let the kid die and not help which other people did and I’m just saying not gonna do it and of course I won’t because I’m not a murderer. What I’m saying is pleasantry. A review on a bar somewhere in the Philippines BEWARE PICKPOCKETS & SNATCHERS – Review of Calle 5, Manila, Philippines – TripAdvisor and a video proof of snatchers exist No one is reporting illegal prostitution. Even a director made a movie about this. Pedophilia exist in this country and NO ONE IS TAKING ACTION Even killing no one will take action unless you’re on the news. Do you really want to visit or live here? If yes TAKE A GUIDE ON HOW TO KEEP SAFE. (Luke Bowers deleted his video about being threatned in the Philippines for recording a person who’s about to cut off his body if he doesn’t give his camera because the close-minded Filipino is racist and YES I KNOW IF I SEE A RACIST FILIPINO framing Luke Bowers that he is recording his daughter for child labor when he’s not and he’s just trying Filipino street foods). Obviously you shouldn’t go in my country. (Will be adding more soon if I can find non-deleted footage).

Don’t move to the Philippines if you expect it to be just like your country, just with more beaches and sunshine. It’s a developing country. I’m sick of foreigners complaining about how this and that is not like how it was back home. Or foreigners who insist on trying to live exactly as they did back home, and then complaining about how western stuff is so much more expensive.Don’t move to the Philippines if you’re just looking for sex or drugs. This isn’t Thailand. Especially the latter, given the current atmosphere because of the drug war.Don’t move to the Philippines if you’re just looking for a wife 40 years younger than you. Guess what? Things you find creepy back home is also regarded as creepy here. So many older people come here believing that the pretty young lady 40 years younger than them is really in love with them. Then they find out they only want the money. And then they get bitter and blame the entire Filipino people for their own stupidity.Don’t move to the Philippines if you’re racist and somehow think Filipinos are less important than you. That attitude is guaranteed to get you into serious fights. Be respectful to the locals, always. You are in their country. Don’t cut lines, don’t yell at people in public, don’t be condescending (even at beggars). The worst cultural sin you can do in the Philippines is be “matapobre” (condescending to the poor).Don’t move to the Philippines if you don’t know anything about the country. Do a longer temporary stay first, then decide. Do your research. I find that MOST westerners know next to nothing about the country and have seriously insane misconceptions about it due to the media bias (after all, most news are about negative things). Even people who visit the country for a week or so often end up with more misconceptions because none of them even bothered researching or asking locals about stuff. Even the answers here have them. The “high crime rate” answer for instance. The Philippines has a homicide rate of 6.46, that’s pretty much just average (for comparison: it’s 4.96 in the US, 8.21 in Russia, 21.09 in Puerto Rico, 29.07 in Mexico, 30.90 in the Bahamas, 43.85 in Jamaica).Don’t move to the Philippines if you plan on not interacting with the locals. I’ve seen so many foreigners here who regard every single Filipino they meet as a potential scammer, and then wonder why nobody likes them. Build a network of friends. Without that, you’ll just have a house here, but you won’t truly have a home.
