Well, in my experience, they typically don’t. They get quiet, defensive, and seem to shut themselves off from you emotionally. You (the man) have to do a great deal of work trying to coax the truth out of them and get them to talk. I waste so much time with extracting stuff out of my g/f that could be solved with a very simple uprfront answer from her. I think they are not good in addressing emotional issues and they run and hide from them.
