I’m an American man who wants to marry a Filipina in the Philippines. What papers do I need and where can I get them?

I'm from the Philippines and the marriage process for you is very simple. 1. Apply for your marriage license.2. You must attend the needed seminars as well as counseling.Some of the documents you will need will be your Birth Certificate, Community Tax and maybe an application form. If you are still in the US at this time, you better ring the nearest Philippine embassy in your town or city. Ring them and ask all the requirements you need for marriage in the Philippines. Second option, ask your girlfriend in the Philippines to go to the Municipal registrar office in town or city to inquire all the requirements you both need for marriage. Third option, ring US embassy in the Philippines. Embassy consul can advise you what you need to bring documents to the Philippines for marriage to Pinoy citizen. They all know about this. You have to do all these options if you can and so you do not miss a thing before leaving the country to the Philippines.
