If you prefer high end living and near tourist spots and malls, then you can always choose Bonifacio Global City and McKinley. The rest of the barangays are fine as well. There has always been a connotation that only BGC is the good place to live in Taguig and that is so not true. Most residential areas are okay in Taguig except for a few areas with various problems as follows: Crime prone areas – Maharlika Village, Lower Bicutan, Signal Village and Western Bicutan [1]Flood critical areas – Bagumbayan, Lower Bicutan, New Lower Bicutan, Hagonoy, San Miguel, Wawa, Bambang, Napindan and Ibayong Tipas (as they are near Laguna Lake, Sta. Ana River and Napindan River) [2]There are 28 barangays in Taguig and only above 12 have issues that you might want to consider. Good BGC , Upper Mckinley Bad, Lower Bicutan and Upper Bicutan (Maharlika Area) even the police won’t dare go alone/without backup.
