Depends on where you are staying – you’re better off hiring two helpers to clean and keep your house in order. One goes off during the weekend, and the next day, the other goes off when the other one returns. Pay the one who knows how to cook a bit more. Hire an outsource chef from time to time to prepare meals that you can store in the freezer and heat when needed and for special occasions. Make sure your stay in helper who cooks observes while assisting and can duplicate at least one dish each time. And with the numerous places to go out to eat, you’ll be able to enjoy eating out from time to time as well. You’ll appreciate the househelp more for cleaning up, doing the laundry and the other stuff for you.

Hiring people to work with you in the Philippines is by asking your friends who they recommended, most people dont just hire workers; maid or cook etc if you dont know them well. As of now there are agencies around who do the job to look for you.
