I need to answer this, i am sorry about the comments,complaints about crazy Filipina girlfriends out there, but.. I am Filipina, I am not crazy, was married to a white guy. 17 yrs together, married 13 years. I don’t cry for attention. I am not jealous,I don’t support anyone back home,I have my own job,I am my own person. I am a little strict when it comes to my children, I don’t allow them to roam in the street, they have to do assignments before TV, and minimal internet use. The ladies that you were talking about here are the crazy ones, you can find them anywhere, regardless of nationality. What is like to have a Filipina as girlfriend. We love our men, we are very clean, we bath 2x a day, we are very conscious of how we smell, how we look,especially our hair.We are good cook, we don’t nag and we are submissive, family oriented, hardworking. Some are religious too. Just don’t make us ANGRY.

As with any nationality personalities differ from person to person. I have an old friend who's Filipina wife doesn't allow him to associate with 'the guys' and controls the money tightly. In contrast mine brings me breakfast in bed most days, tells me, “that's too much” when I give her money for things, and generally treats me like the king of the household. I can say most Filipinas I have met are grateful for the kind of life they can have with a western man. I can tell you that if you are patient and don't rush things it is easy to find a caring partner in the Philippines. But be careful as there are a lot that are only in it for the money.
