Keep your eyes peeled for the Secret Single Mother: these are women who have children but hide it from you until it is too late. After you have fallen in love with them, and they think that they have the upper hand, then they will drop that bomb on you, and many men will then accept it. But of course, you’ll end up with an instant family – which is not good – unless it was what you were looking for. An exaggerated form of this which you should particularly avoid is the single mother under 35 years of age with more than 3 kids: this is a definite red-flag which should make you run for cover. Just so you know: I don't have any problems with single-moms in general: I just don't like them to hide the existence of their kids from me!
