PhilHealth is the national public health insurance plan for Filipinos

PhilHealth is our subsidized Filipine government health plan. It is very cheap for us – mere dollars each month. And it pays like that too. But it has been a sure ticket for entering emergency rooms. I've experienced 3 different ones. Some require pre payment for individual services. Some not. You can usually receive good medical services with this insurance – at least, i have.
