How many tourists would be interested in getting off the beaten path and rent a house that’s way out in a farming community in the Philippines. In this way, I believe the focus is on getting to know the people?

    There are a few. Probably more than I think. Who do wish to come to were I live. Waterbuffalo farm see the more primitive life. But still want to be close to a town with airconditioned rooms & a good café. I can arrange such for you or give you E mail address’s of people who can arrange such.

    Very few, there is nothing to do in the boondocks with limited amenities. Can get to know people in non tourist cities that have things that tourists like to do.
