Standard answer for any questions on any group of people – some do, some don't. I personally know some Filipino women. Not one of them are dependent on their men for money. They have their own jobs and excel at it. They talk about a varied number of issues, but not one of them are about their boyfriends or husbands not giving them money. Maybe it's the company you are keeping. Perhaps they are young and therefore relatively immature. It could also be that you are either mixing or attracting the wrong sort of people for some reason, or you have bad luck in the Filipinos you meet. That happens.

my girlfriend is from Philippines, she doesn't asked money from me at all. I would think that perhaps certain areas of PH would perhaps behave more in such manner as compared to other areas of PH and also their upbringing and jobscope. afterall PH is a large country I've several lady friends also, im under no impression they would behave in such manner, although they could have been doing so but just keeping quiet. however, mixing with them, they are rather generous and im the one eating the free food haha.
