When dating women in the Philippines, how do you know if she really loves you or just wants a sugar daddy? If you are of comparable age and lifestyle, share the same interests and have the same goals in life, then she probably loves you for you. If on the other hand you are looking to date a woman from the Philippines because you can’t get a woman back home for whatever reason, for example due to ill health, being morbidly obese, or because you have unrealistic expectations as to subservience or sexual practise that Western women won’t bow to, then she probably doesn’t love you at all and instead views your interaction as a form of extended business transaction/opportunity to get a passport. Look at yourself and your relationship critically and realistically for the answer to your question.

Is she asking for a lot of gifts? Are you showering her with financial things? Then stop, see how she acts. Test her. Pretend you went broke because you had to give a family member money for medical reason. See if she changes where she wants to date, If she is content just to be with you hold hands and take a walk or she wants expensive things. See if she is okay with picnics in the park with peanut butter sandwiches rather than fancy things. If you propose do it with a cheap ring at first before letting her see the real one. I have a stainless steel comfort band, no one would bother to mug me for that. He was broke at the time and couldn’t afford a diamond ring. But that is okay because what I really wanted was him. 12 years later we have stood the test of time and I still happily wear my stainless steel comfort band even though we could probably afford diamond, after paying for things with the kids.
