The Philippines is very accepting of others. We actually have 3 Pure-Blooded Korean Immigrants in our School. The Philippines and South Korea have been allies since the end of the Second World War. This friendship was tested in the Korean War where the Philippines sent the 13th largest contingent of soldiers in the form of the Philippine Expeditionary Forces To Korea (PEFTOK) despite the fact the Philippines itself was recovering from World War 2. After the War ended in 1953, PEFTOK Units still stayed to aid in rebuilding efforts. We have been trade partners since the end of the Korean War with the culmination of this, You could say, being the purchase of 12 Korean Air Industries (KAI)/Lockheed Martin FA-50PH Golden Eagles from South Korea, which are now actively fighting ISIS-aligned insurgent groups in Mindanao.Did I mention we welcome them with open arms?As long as they attain a Filipino Citizenship, they can set up business in the Philippines and join the family of people known as the Filipinos.
