Shot Answer: Sure. Why not? It’s not like anyone would forbid us from it and there are no laws banning said marriage. There is a large community of Indo-Philippino couples in both nations. There were even a few articles about it a few years ago. So yes, Indians can marry Philipino’s and vice versa. Same with any other nationality including Pakistan. There are no miscegenation laws anymore. You just have to get the nod from your prospective partner and both sets of parents.

it’s not a big deal to marry a Filipino – but their culture is totally different than Indian – for example – Food and social behaviour. It’s better to check first that they are already married and have children first – in Philippines – They can marry anybody for Canadian or European visa – Generally, they are Smiley and friendly as long as you’re not coworkers. They are very close knitted community and sometimes they behave like a Mafia. Most of my friends and colleagues have Filipino girl friends and change every weekend – and some last for month or two. It’s very easy to change girlfriends for them and vice-versa .. The loyalty and fidelity varies from person to person. There are thousands of Filipino nannies wandering in the city and swarmed in all dating sites. In the dating sites I used to get marriage offers from local and abroad (Philippines) from 12 years old to 70 yrs as they are so desperate to use you as a steppingstone to get proper documents to stay in Canada or to immigrate from Phillipines. Millions of Filipino nannies are working in all parts of the Gulf countries for very low salaries in a very grave conditions. In Canada, they occupy in each and every department and I doubt about their reputation and impartiality – favours everything on their own kind. These are not just my personal opinion and anguishly heard from other Canadians. Indian-born indian wives are best choice for Indian men – as long as you keep them in India – inless they have extreme loyalty – just judge yourself for your own better future with peace and love.
