The Philippines DOES have numbers on houses/ gates of houses unless that house was illegally constructed. The barangay rule is every house should have a number as long as they were issued an occupancy permit. I got mine after 3 months of getting the permit to live in the house. In Baguio City/ Benguet, you cannot get an occupancy permit without: Building permitFire department permitFDAS items installed in your house – Absolutely required even for residences.A secure structure – They can issue an occupancy permit with notes that your structure is not safe enough. This is why there is a crackdown on illegal settlers. They make the system complicated. Demolition on houses constructed on land without a title started.
