What is the cost of living in Makati, Philippines at Jazz Residences or Knightsbridge Residences (e.g., food, electricity, and water)?

Hi, I’m not really sure about my answer but this is based in my opinions and a little research. In Jazz Residences it depends on the unit you will be renting. 1 br fully furnished with balcony in Jazz in approximately 27,000 php / month, based on Rentpad – Apartments, Condos, Houses and Rooms For Rent exclusive of utilities. Utilities will depend on your lifestyle depending how frugal you are. e.g water- 2,000php, electricity 3,500 php , internet- 2,000php food and transportation 10,000php.. again it depends on your lifestyle. If you’re earning $ it will cut you $1,000 or less because of high currency exchange.

Doesn;t matter where you live – your food costs will be the same, depending on your lifestyle. So we can take that out – you could spend $50 a week. or $10. Impossible to know how you like to live. Electricity is not cheap – and gets burned up by air con units and refigerator. Electric washing machine, TV, water heaters are all massive costs. If you leave your air con on all day, you’ll get a high bill. To give you an example, I live in Makati a little way away from Jazz, but know it quite well. I would live with air con, water heater and fridge freezer if available, and would expect $100 plus for electric costs per month. It’ll be your highest single cost for services. Water is a tiny cost by comparison – but again it depends on how much you use. It is all metered. You should be able to spend less than $20 a month for that. Rent – another high cost, and again it depends on the unit. You should allow between $300 – £800 a month there. Choose the middle ground and budget $500, and you’re living in a good area with many facilities for less than $1000 per month… and cheaper if you don’t use aircon. It is entirely possible to live much cheaper than that. But it depends on your lifestyle choices.
