have your own electric fan or air conditioner (if you can afford) cause it is hot during the day. but if you’re working and you’ll be staying in your place just to to sleep and rest at night, then an electric fan is enough.as much as possible, use jeep as public transportation. you can save money this way. it will take some time to get the hang of it but it’s fairly easy since the city doesn’t have a lot of routes. So far i haven’t experienced criminal activities in CDO but it doesn’t hurt to be safe. Lock your doors before going to sleep.Don’t drink water from the faucet.

Everything their is cheap, cheap in a sense that everything is so affordable. Food, clothes, transportation, and cost of living. People there are also very friendly! I was born there and my family and I moved to Manila when I was 16. I miss the province life. you’ll be closer to nature when you move there, I wish you best of luck and enjoy! Ps. make sure to try the local foos like kinilaw, proven, and tinolang isda. these are just some of my favorites. 🙂
