Answer: Bonifacio Global City (also known as BGC, Global City, or The Fort) is a financial and lifestyle district in Taguig, Metro Manila, Philippines. It is located 11 km (6.8 mi) south-east of the center of Manila. The district experienced commercial growth following the sale of military land by the Based Conversion and Develipment Authority (BCDA). The entire district used to be the part of the main Philippine Army camp. BGC has all the malls, restaurants, parks, first class hospitals, dental clinics, drug stores, bars, night clubs, museum, golf course, basket ball courts, gyms, football field, ATM machines, banks, etc. Many of the companies that set-up businesses at BGC are BPO, banks, traders, car showrooms for many brands such as, Ferrari , Maserati, lambhorgini, Aston Martin, MB, BMW, Lexus, etc. Streets are clean and pedestrians are well maintained. Nightlife is fantastic. BGC is closed to the international airport and another commercial district Makati. The biggest problem is the heavy traffic on rush hours. I would avoid it. It is not my lifestile. But last there. $1,000 a month for a small 2 room apartment. With 3 foot balcony to smoke on & a little view. Not worth seeing every day. Shopping will cost 90% of the same as in the U.S. if you shop near there. I did find 1 place that knew how to make a decent turkey club sandwich there. Manila is not a cheap place to live. 1 month there was enough for me. But Manila as far as I am concerned is the worst place to live in the Philippines. Unless you want a New York city stile life. It is not cheap there. Only 2 things in Manila worth going to. The 666 market. & the spice market. Then pay for the extra weight & get back to the Southern Philippines & the good life. But each to there own.
