its a huge country with plenty of coastline & clear waters, but its also pounded by typhoons, shaken by quakes & run the risk of volcanic eruption. if you’re a history & war junkie, there’s much to indulge in while living in Philippines. and if you’ve a burden in spirit to alleviate poverty & suffering, u should also learn how the locals live. there’s also pockets of terror network lurking in some parts of the country, so u might wanna avoid those places.

There are thieves, mostly in the government but do not expect someone to murder you unless you become a target of big time thieves due to too much cash, or having risky business. Generally, people are nice but there are toxic traits too like crab mentality, denial of many problems and definitely there is a very high level of idiocy in Metro Manila. Even their smartest people are hell-bound.
