Which bank would you recommend for an American expat living in Davao City Philippines, Capital one or Citibank?

Based on my experience, I’ve been with Bpi (Bank of the Philippine Islands) for more than 10 yrs. I prefer them in terms of convenience wherein I can do transactions via machine (deposit and withdrawal) then do bank transfers via their app. I haven’t seen any citibank branches in Davao City so far. My dad’s credit card is citibank and the payments are made thru other banks. If inquiries are made one has to call their toll free number.

I use BDO, which I think is the biggest. I can pay my electricity, Skycable and PLDT bills on line, but still have to traipse into town to pay the wretched water bill… You can have seamless USD, GBP and probably Yen accounts with BDO.
