Any place has a good and bad side in terms of neighborhood concerns. It’s up to a person how he takes good care of himself. Don’t walk alone in unfamiliar places and I highly suggest to live nearby the city such as Trancoville, AuroraHill, Lourdes area, Laubach road, Rimando to name a few. The main reason it’s because, some of the given places has a 24 hour public transpo access and it is also easy for you to go to the hospital, market and school also. In Baguio, you also need to be extracareful with your belongings because sadly, nowadays, pickpockets are rampant anywhere so you should be responsible with your OWN belongings. Don’t leave your things unattended particularly your mobile phones, computer and other gadgets. So, if your main concern is the neighborhood if you have plans migrating here, it is not only the safety that you should consider as well as the cultural differences you might encounter in case of deciding that you would like to migrate here. Living in Baguio City is okay if you are willing to adapt and embrace their culture since locals here are very timid so you also have to respect that. =)

All neighbourhoods in Baguio are presumed good until proven otherwise. Seriously, it is a question to difficult to answer on a personal level. One is competent to answer only as far as his sphere of knowledge permits him. If my world pertains to my residence, roads on which i walk to get to my working place and a habitue or two and from these places i am unharmed day in and day out for the last 20 years, this “neighbourhood” is good. It is possible that in the interim attempts to pick your pocket or other similar crimes could discredit the good but as long as one gets to tomorrow alive, it is still a good life. Baguio isn’t Syria in the present tense. The highlands are not being rained on with missiles, bombs and artillery but as long as there are imperfect and lawless men, neighbourhoods in general and in any place, will never be totally good. Our consolation as little people in this planet is as long as the good outnumber the bad and government administers the good purpose of its existence over the bad and lawless elements, every place in Baguio is worth being called a good place.
