    Bacolod is an urban city with that distinct Southern charm. It keeps abreast with development yet still maintain the laid back lifestyle. Bacolod City has the amenities that other highly urbanized cities in the Philippines can offer but without the traffic problems, pollution and high crime rate. Delectable Cuisine – People in Bacolod love to eat. Food is not only the number one source of business but also provides bonding opportunities among families and friends. The city boasts of fine dining restaurants, local delicacy, pastry and coffee shops, and hole-in-the-wall carinderias that can surely satisfy one’s discriminating taste without making a hole in the pocket. Most outsiders don’t know that Bacolod has more to offer than just piaya to satisfy one’s sweet tooth. Those who visit Bacolod should try Roli’s napoleones and cakes frame Calea to have a taste of how sweet life in Bacolod is.Lower cost of living – Cost of food, utilities, and even real propertiesare lower compared to neighboring highly urbanized cities.     Very good and affordable food! Home of the ultimate and most famous Chicken Inasal (Grilled Barbeque), Pastry shops and Cafe (Cafe Bobs, Calea, Starbucks, and Local restaurants and Foreign food inspired restaurants) You can get a good “Inasal” meal for as low as $2 Or enjoy a large muffin for $1 De-stress with some partying! Yes, Bacolod enjoys nightlife as well. Of course, Masskara Festival! The creative industry is also very booming. Art districts, museums, murals,exhibits, and galleries. If you are a digital nomad, a freelancer, a startup, or just love to be online, work in a good environment, then Bacolod have a co-working space just for you. Dojo 8 Coworking in the photo is the very first coworking/coliving space in Bacolod. Enjoy fast internet up to 100mbps, unlimited coffee and tea, and a good work/study area (or even shower). You can also invest in real estate and get good deals if you really is “adulting”. lol I believe the employment rate is good in Bacolod. The rising number of BPO companies give a lot of career opportunities to Bacolodnons. And of course, you can travel a few hours away from bacolod and enjoy what nature has to offer.
