Make sure you are fishing off the right dock: meet through introductions from trusted people,, friends, family and stay the heck out of them bars. Come on man, a bar is nowhere to go looking for a wife. Take your time to vett her thoroughly over a good long period of time: 1 -2 years at least. Be patient, be patient, be patient ! Do your homework on her, and ensure that you know who she really is: investigate her background by talking to her friends and family, and you will hear things b/c everyone here in the PH loves to gossip. This is the only time gossip will work in your favor !

All things being equal, don’t do anything to really push her hot-buttons: and jealousy is a major hot-button issue for women in the Philippines. Reassure her often about your committment to her, and let her know that you are all-in with her. While it sounds as if you are setting yourself up to get played, if she is a good one, it will help allay her fears.
