Moved from the USA to Cebu in 2017 because I was not able to work any longer(back injury) and couldn't afford to live in America. Since then, my girlfriend and I have managed to purchase a large piece of land, build a house, buy a motorcycle and a car, and we have paid cash for everything we have. My income is only social security… it's just a little over $1500.00 a month! What's not to love about living here? (oh, I did have to get used to buying bottled water for drinking and cooking, and cold showers!) 😁
