Can I get a balikbayan stamp entry into the Philippines every year as a US citizen married to a Filipino if we enter the Philippines together each time? We are semi-retired and want to snow bird in the Philippines for 5 months every winter?

    I believe you can. I have friends in Canada who do just that. They winter here on Bohol and summer back home near Niagara Falls Canada. BUT this is the Philippines, better you get actual documented proof from an Embassy or Consulate in the USA.

    My wife and I were just there and I got my stamp. Just have your wife show both passports to customs at the airport and should be no problem getting it stamped. You can stay then up to just before one year, leave anywhere out of Phil and reenter, if you wish, and start all over again for up to a year. We plan to snow bird soon also.
