If you have few means or resources, the romance will not last, and if she discovers this early, the relationship may not even get off the ground. Furthermore, if you do have means & resources, beware of other guys who have even more resources than you: many Filipina girls will kick you to the curb in order to trade up to the richer guy: all other things being equal. It is in every woman’s nature to ‘trade-up’, and she can often do it if she is still young & sexy. So just remember, opening doors and pulling out chairs, and holding umbrellas for girls in the rain is all well and good, but in the PH, cash is still king. Every Filipina is keenly aware of that – and you should be as well ! (Yeah, he behaves like an idiot, but Kanye West put it best: “I’m not saying she’s a gold-digger, but she ain’t messin’ with no broke n****** ! “)
