I have several Filipino Chinese friends living in the Philippines and they are anxious about a possible war between USA Ph and China. They are worried that Filipinos might start killing or doing hate crimes against them. How should I advise them?

    Over the years, there have already been many hate crimes directed at the Chinese in the Philippines. Among them have been kidnappings and holding them for ransom. I recall a few summers back when a Filipino police officer killed a busload of Hong Kong tourists. Lots of racism.

    Keep a low profile.Buy guns, like what minorities are doing in the USA, to protect themselves and their families.
