If you would move to Mandaluyong in the Philippines, expect heavy traffic all day long. So if you are to meet anyone outside the City, allow an hour and a half for traffic. If you are to go anywhere outside the place, allow 2 and a half. Places to kill time in are all around, but malls outnumber the parks. So if you are a nature lover, Mandaluyong is not a place for you. Google great places to wine or dine in. But always remember the traffic out there, if time is of a big factor.

Mandaluyong is one of the most strategic locations in the Metropolitan since it is almost at the center of NCR. I have been living in Mandaluyong since 2010–2015. The city is near big malls, high rise condos and big establishment.Mandaluyong has easy access to Pasig, Makati, Taguig and San Juan. In my opinion, it is quite cleaner compared to the other neighboring cities such as Manila. My advice is that, if you are a working individual and your workplace is within mandaluyong only, better stay in the city as your residence. However, if your workplace is in other places except Manda, then i suggest to not live there since traffic is really stressful and it may affect your efficiency as an employee most importantly if you don't have your own wheels to drive. Mandaluyong is a perfect choice. For a young adult to have a worthwhile stay in Manda, try jogging inside mental hospital along 9 de pebrero. Yeah, it is safe there. Also, dine at “Apang” after attending the sunday mass (for Catholics), visit the paskuhan at Mandaluyong City circle every Christmas season and lastly, try riding a vehicle that would pass through the tunnel going to Robinsons pioneer.
